IUPTLU Holders Now Required to Establish Development Quotas for PLTS Atap Systems for Each of Their Electrical Power Systems

In 2021, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) issued Regulation No. 26 of 2021 (“ Regulation 26/2021 ”) on Rooftop Solar Power Plants (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga SuryaAtap– “ PLTS Atap ”) Connected to the Electrical Power Networks of Holders of Business Permits for the Provision of Electrical Power for Public Use (Izin Usaha Penyediaan Tenaga Listrik untuk Kepentingan Umum– “ IUPTLU ”). As its title suggests, Regulation 26/2021 outlined various prerequisites for the installment and utilization of PLTS Atap connected to the electrical power networks of IUPTLU holders (“ Networks ”).
