Jakarta Updates 2026 Sectoral Minimum Wages with New Coverage for the Construction, Transportation and Warehousing, and Human Health and Social Activities Sectors

Following the introduction of a newly determined Provincial Minimum Wage for the Special Capital City Region of Jakarta at the end of last year, the Governor of the Special Capital City Region of Jakarta (“ Governor ”) recently established minimum wage rates for workers employed across various industrial sectors for the year 2026 through the enactment of Decree of the Governor No. 33 of 2026 on the 2026 Provincial Sectoral Minimum Wages (Upah Minimum Sektoral Provinsi– “ UMSP ”) (“ Decree 33/2026 ”), which officially came into force on 1 January 2026.
