Job Creation Law: Draft Implementing Regulation on Business Licensing at the Regional Level

Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation (“ Job Creation Law ”) has now been promulgated and the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs has already issued several draft implementing regulations to the Job Creation Law, which have been made available through the official Job Creation Law portal . Among the drafts that have been shared is the new Draft Regulation of the Government (Rancangan Peraturan Pemerintah– “ RPP ”) on the Organization of Business Licensing Within Regions dated 27 November 2020, which sets out further provisions aimed at providing better clarity concerning this area in an effort to establish fast, easy, integrated, transparent, efficient, effective and accountable business licensing regimes at the regional level.
