Latest Draft Bill on Consumer Protection Harmonizes Penal Sanctions with KUHP Categorization System

The Indonesian Government previously issued a May 2023 version of the Draft Bill on Consumer Protection (“ 2023 Draft Bill ”), which was included as a part of the 2023 National Legislation Program (Program Legislasi Nasional– “ Prolegnas ”).
