LKPP Introduces Guidelines on the Provision of Construction Services for the Development of and Relocation to Nusantara

In order to tackle the construction of infrastructure and procurements of goods/services as a part of preparations and developments relating to the relocation of Indonesia’s capital city to Nusantara and the organization of a new regional government, a comprehensive set of guidelines that address this megaproject are required. In order to provide such guidelines, the National Public Procurement Agency (Lembaga Kebijakan Pengadaan Barang/Jasa Pemerintah– “ LKPP ”) recently issued Regulation No. 5 of 2022 (“ Regulation 5/2022 ”) in order to ensure the smooth construction of infrastructure, as well as adequate procurements of the various goods/services that will be required in order to construct Indonesia’s new capital city of Nusantara.
