MA Introduces Procedures for the Submission of Applications for the Enforcement or Cancellation of Arbitration Awards by First-Level Courts

In an effort to ensure that arbitration-based dispute resolution mechanisms are implemented effectively and in line with the mandate set under Law No. 30 of 1999 on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolutions (“ Law 30/1999 ”), the Supreme Court (Mahkamah Agung- “ MA ”) has issued Regulation No. 3 of 2023 on Procedures for the Appointment of Arbitrators by the Court, the Denial of Rights, Examinations of Applications for Enforcement and the Cancellation of Arbitral Awards (“ Regulation 3/2023 ”), which has been in force since 17 October 2023.
