The Director-General of Sea Transportation has issued Decree No. KP-DJPL 205 of 2026 (“ Decree 205/2026 ”) on Technical Guidelines for the Installation of Double-Bottom Structures on Cargo Vessels and Passenger Vessels (collectively referred to as “ Vessels ”). Decree 205/2026 should hopefully resolve any ongoing interpretative differences regarding the stability requirements that apply to Vessels, as set out under Regulation of the Minister of Transportation No. PM 44 of 2021 .
