As mandated under Regulation of the Government No. 55 of 2012 on Vehicles and its amendment , all motor vehicles that are driven on public roads must meet certain technical requirements and must feature safety equipment. In order to set out an expanded list of the types of safety equipment that must feature in motor vehicles and to provide a comprehensive regulatory framework for said equipment, the Minister of Transportation (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. PM 74 of 2021 on Motorized-Vehicle Safety Equipment (“ Regulation 74/2021 ”).
