Mandatory Registration of Motor-Vehicle Types and Variants Updated

In order to further develop a sustainable and globally competitive motor-vehicle industry in Indonesia, the Minister of Industry has issued Regulation No. 34 of 2019 on the Registration of Types and Variants of Motor Vehicles (“ Regulation 34/2019 ”). In essence, Regulation 34/2019 updates provisions which address the registration of types and variants of certain motor vehicles which are used for testing purposes or which are imported. [1]
