The Head of the Indonesian Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (Kepala Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi–“BAPPEBTI”) has issued Regulation No. 7 of 2016 on the Mandatory Submission of Transaction Records and Financial Statements for Alternative Trading System Organizers(“Regulation 7/2016”).Regulation 7/2016 sets out guidelines for the organizers of alternative trading systems(“Alternative Organizers”) [1] as regards the submission of transaction records and financial statements, as mandated under Article 133 of Government Regulation No. 49 of 2014 on the Organization of Commodity Futures Trading (“Regulation 49/2014”). [2] Submission: Deadlines, Methods and FormatsIn line with Regulation 49/2014, Regulation 7/2016 mandates that Alternative Organizers should draft, maintain, retain and submit all of their transaction records and financial statements(“Reports”)to the Head of BAPPEBTI. These Reports are to be submitted on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
