Matching of Data to Determine Eligibility to Secure Household Electricity Tariff Subsidies to Now Be Carried Out on a Quarterly Basis

In 2016, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) previously issued Regulation No. 29 of 2016 on the Mechanism for the Granting of Household Electricity Tariff (“ Tariff ”) Subsidies (“ Subsidies ”), as amended several times, most recently through Regulation of the Minister No. 17 of 2019 (collectively referred to as “ Regulation 29/2016 ”). As its title suggests, Regulation 29/2016 outlined the applicable requirements and mechanisms for the granting of Subsidies to household customers of PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) (“ PLN ”).
