The Head of the National Standardization Agency (“Agency”) has issued Regulation No. 2 of 2017 on Procedures for the Use of SNI Marks and SNI-Based Conformity Marks (“Regulation 2/2017”). Regulation 2/2017 serves as an implementation of Article 47 of Law No. 20 of 2014 on Standardization and Conformity Assessment, [1] which required procedures for the use of Indonesian National Standard (“SNI”) marks and SNI-based conformity marks to be further regulated.In this regard, Regulation 2/2017 stipulates several provisions which pertain to the following matters:
