The Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) has stipulated Decree No. 351.K/MB.01/MEM.B/2026 on the Amendment (“ Amendment ”) to Decree of the Minister No. 54.K/MB.01/MEM.B/2024 on Guidelines for the Implementation of Investigation and Research Assignments for the Preparation of Mining Areas, Mining Business License Areas, and Special Mining Business License Areas (“ Decree 54/2024 ”). The Amendment officially came into force on 1 September 2026. [1]
