Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulates Rooftop PLTS Connected to Electrical Power Networks of IUPTLU Holders

In order to boost the use of environmentally friendly solar energy, specifically the generation of electrical power through the use of rooftop solar-power generation systems (pembangkit listrik tenaga surya– “ PLTS ”) that are operated in parties’ own private interests, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation of the Minister No. 26 of 2021 on Rooftop Solar Power Plants Connected to Electrical Power Networks of Holders of Business Permits for the Provision of Electrical Power in the Public Interest (“ Regulation 26/2021 ”).
