Minister of Industry Further Regulates Provision on Government-Borne Import Duty for Certain Industries Affected by COVID-19 Pandemic

In an effort to support the utilization of import-duty facilities borne by the government and in order to implement Regulation of the Minister of Finance No. 134/PMK.010/2020 (“ Regulation 134/2020 ”), the Minister of Industry (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 31 of 2020 (“ Regulation 31/2020 ”). This new regulation sets out implementing guidelines for the utilization of government-borne import-duty facilities for imports of goods and/or services which are undertaken by certain industrial sectors currently being affected by the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
