Ministry of Industry Introduces Industry 4.0 Readiness Index

The Minister of Industry (“ Minister ”) has established Making Indonesia 4.0, which comprises a roadmap which addresses a clear direction and strategy for future industrial development within Indonesia. [1] In an effort to accelerate the implementation of Making Indonesia 4.0 and to provide a foundation for the government and industrial sector as regards Industry 4.0, the Minister has issued Regulation No. 21 of 2020 on the Measurement of Levels of Industrial Readiness Regarding Transformation Towards Industry 4.0 (“ Regulation 21/2020 ”).
