Mobile Cellular Network at the 2.1 GHz Radio Frequency Band - Custodian Selection

The Minister of Communication and Information has issued Regulation No. 02/PER/M.KOMINFO/1/2006 setting out the selection procedures and criteria for the 3 blocks of the 2.1 GHz radio frequency band that is the subject of this Regulation. This Regulation follows the Regulation analyzed in the ILB of 17 January 2006. As the demand for mobile telecommunications increases so does the community's demands for quality and efficient mobile services. To ensure that this occurs, the Government has recognized that it must exert greater control of the selection and licensing process to guarantee that quality operators are selected.
