More Environment and Forestry Licenses to Be Issued by BKPM

In order to support the organization of electronically integrated business licensing services within the environment and forestry sector, the Minister of Environment and Forestry (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. P.6/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/1/2020 on the Delegation of Authority for the Issuance of Business Licenses within the Environment and Forestry Sector to the Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (“ Regulation 6/2020 ”). [1] In essence, Regulation 6/2020 sets out details relating to the issuance of licenses, which has now been delegated by the Minister to the Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (Badan Koordinasi Penanaman Modal– “ BKPM ”) and the appointment of intermediary officials (pejabat penghubung) by the Minister for placements at the BKPM.
