Mutual Fund Collective Investment Contracts Set to Be Included on List of Securities Allowed to Be Placed as Collateral in the KPEI

In 2018, the Board of Directors PT of Kliring Penjaminan Efek Indonesia (“ KPEI ”) issued Rule No. II-12 (“ Previous Rule II-12 ”) as the Appendix to Decree No. KEP-016/DIR/KPEI/0718 (“ Decree 16/2018 ”) on the Placement of Collateral for Equity Securities Exchange Transactions (“ Equity Transactions ”), Investment Product Participation Units in the Form of Collective Investment Contracts (Kontrak Investasi Kolektif– “ KIK ”) and the Lending-Borrowing of Securities (Pinjam Meminjam Efek– “ PME ”).
