The House of Representatives (DPR) in its Plenary Session of 7 February 2002 has passed the Bill on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters. This bill will come into force on the date of its enactment or 30 days after it was passed by the DPR. It has been suggested that the passing of this bill completes the legal framework relating to international assistance in criminal matters and extradition.
