National Payment Gateway Further Regulated

Bank Indonesia’s Board of Governors has issued Regulation No. 19/10/PADG/2017 on the National Payment Gateway (“Governors’Regulation 19/2017”), which serves as an implementation of Bank Indonesia (“BI”) Regulation No. 19/8/PBI/2017 [1] on the National Payment Gateway (“BIRegulation 19/2017”). [2] Governors’ Regulation 19/2017 essentially sets out comprehensive details which relate to the implementation of the National Payment Gateway(“NPG”); however, due to the broad scope of this new regulation, this edition of Indonesian Legal Brief (ILB) will limit its discussion to the following matters:
