New Curriculum Established for Training on TPKS Prevention and Handling: Organizers Required to Incorporate the Prescribed Nine Subject Areas

Back in 2024, the government introduced Regulation of the President No. 9 of 2024 (“ Regulation 9/2024 ”) on the Organization of Education and Training on the Prevention and Handling of Crimes of Sexual Violence (Tindak Pidana Kekerasan Seksual– “ TPKS ”). [1] Among the various matters addressed therein, Regulation 9/2024 mandates the formulation of a standardized curriculum, methods and modules for training and education courses on the prevention and handling of TPKS, as well as the establishment of monitoring and evaluation guidelines for said training.
