New Guidelines for the Imposition of Administrative Sanctions for Violations Within the Marine Affairs and Fisheries Sector Set for October 2021 Enforcement

In order to ensure public compliance as regards the various requirements and obligations that apply within the marine affairs and fisheries sector, the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries (“ Minister ”) issued Regulation No. 31 of 2021 on the Imposition of Administrative Sanctions Within the Marine and Fisheries Sector (“ Regulation 31/2021 ”). [1] Upon its enforcement on 6 October 2021, Regulation 31/2021 will become the official guidelines for the imposition of administrative sanctions in relation to any violations or non-compliance within the marine affairs and fisheries sector.
