In 2023, the Minister of Trade (“ Minister ”) introduced Regulation No. 36 of 2023 on Import Policy and Provisions, which was subsequently amended three times, most recently through the issuance of Regulation of the Minister No. 8 of 2024 (collectively referred to as “ Regulation 36/2023 ”). However, Regulation 36/2023 has now been revoked through the issuance of Regulation No. 16 of 2025 (“ Regulation 16/2025 ”), which bears the same title as Regulation 36/2023 and which is set to come into force on 30 August 2025.
