\Since its original promulgation back in 2009, Law No. 4 of 2009 on Mineral and Coal Mining (“ Mining Law ”) has undergone three amendments, including a number of changes that were introduced under the umbrella framework of the Job Creation Omnibus Law. However, in order to adapt to ever-evolving conditions within Indonesia’s coal and mining sector, the government is currently completing work on a Draft Bill on the Fourth Amendment to the Mining Law (“ Draft Bill ”).
