In a bid to improve investment within the shipping sector, the Ministry of Transportation(“Ministry”)has issued Regulation No. PM 39 of 2017 on Ship Registration and Nationality(“Regulation 39/2017”), which redefines a number of provisions relating to the processing of ship registrations and ship nationality documents, as previously regulated under Ministry Regulation No. PM 13 of 2012 (“Regulation 13/2012”).
