New Procedures Introduced for the Issuance of Mandatory Certificates for the Production and Distribution of Horticultural Seeds

The Minister of Agriculture (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 23 of 2021 on Horticultural Seeds (“ Regulation 23/2021 ”), which introduces a set of updated provisions that address the production, certification and supervision of activities that involve horticultural seeds. These updated provisions accommodate and elaborate upon the updates which were originally set out under Regulation of the Government No. 26 of 2021 on the Organization of the Agricultural Sector. [1]
