New Provisions Introduced for the Handling and Settlement of Land Cases

In an effort to update provisions relating to the handling and settlement of land cases, which were previously comprehensively addressed under Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency (“ Minister ”) No. 11 of 2016 on the Settlement of Land Cases (“ Regulation 11/2016 ”), the Minister recently issued Regulation No. 21 of 2020 on the Handling and Settlement of Land Cases (“ Regulation 21/2020 ”). The issuance of Regulation 21/2020 means that Regulation 11/2016, the implementation of which has been deemed ineffective, has now been replaced and repealed. [1]
