In an attempt to implement various provisions originally addressed under Regulation of the Government No. 5 of 2021 on the Organization of Risk-Based Business Licensing (“ Regulation 5/2021 ”), [1] as well as Regulation of the Government No. 27 of 2021 on the Organization of the Maritime and Fisheries Sector (“ Regulation 27/2021 ”), the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 33 of 2021 (“ Regulation 33/2021 ”), which sets out various provisions that relate to fish capture logbooks, the onboard monitoring of fish capture vessels (“ Monitoring ”) and fish transportation vessels (collectively referred as “ Fishing Vessels ”), inspections, evaluations and the marking of fishing vessels, as well as to the management of fishing-vessel crew members.
