New Provisions Introduced on the Organization of the Energy Sector and Mineral Resources: From Coal to Electricity

Representing an implementation of various provisions initially addressed under Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation (“ Job Creation Law ”), which has introduced a number of changes within the energy and mineral resources sector, the Indonesian Government has finally issued Regulation of the Government No. 25 of 2021 on the Organization of the Energy and Mineral Resources Sector (“ Regulation 25/2021 ”).
