New Provisions on Agreements for Appointments of Distributors or Agents Introduced

In order to follow up on the issuance of Regulation of the Government No. 29 of 2021 on the Organization of the Trade Sector, [1] the Minister of Trade (“ Minister ”) has now issued Regulation No. 24 of 2021 on Agreements for Distributions of Goods by Distributors or Agents (“ Regulation 24/2021 ”). In essence, Regulation 24/2021 elaborates upon provisions that address appointments of distribution business actors in order to distribute goods from producers to retailers, as well as the agreements for said appointments.
