New Provisions on Customs-and-Excise Guarantees Set for Introduction on 1 January 2023

The Minister of Finance (“ Minister ”) recently issued Regulation No. 168/PMK.04/2022 on Guarantees for Customs-and-Excise Purposes (“ Regulation 168/2022 ”), which updates provisions that address guarantees for payments of state charges for customs or excise-related activities and/or for the fulfillment of any other obligations that are set under the applicable laws and regulations on customs and excise.
