New Provisions on Futures-Broker Business Licenses and the Opening of Branch Offices

The Indonesian Commodities Futures Trading Supervisory Agency (“ BAPPEBTI ”) has issued Regulation No. 3 of 2018 on Futures-Broker Business Licenses and Approvals for the Opening of Futures-Broker Branch Offices (“ Regulation 3/2018 ”), which serves as the new legal framework for the issuance of both futures broker business licenses (“ Business Licenses ”) and approvals for the opening of futures broker branch offices (“ Approvals ”).However, due to the broad scope of Regulation 3/2018, this edition of Indonesian Legal Brief (ILB) will confine its discussion to the following matters:
