In order to ensure the implementation of good governance and effective risk management by parties which are engaged in the organization of transaction performance facilities within money markets and foreign-exchange markets (“ Financial Markets ”), Bank Indonesia (“ BI ”) has issued Regulation No. 21/5/PBI/2019 on Organizers of Transaction Performance Facilities within Money Markets and Foreign-Exchange Markets. [1] Among the parties who offer transaction performance facilities within the Financial Markets are systematic internalizers, which are now further elaborated upon under Regulation of the Board of Governors No. 21/20/PADG/2019 on Systematic Internalizers (“ Regulation 20/2019 ”).
