New Provisions on the Distribution, Screening, Import and Export of Films Finally Regulated

Minister of Education and Culture (“ Minister ”) recently issued a series of regulations aimed at enhancing the national film industry. One of these is Regulation of the Minister No. 34 of 2019 on the Distribution, Screening, Export and Import of Films (“ Regulation 34/2019 ”). In essence, Regulation 34/2019 sets out various provisions which address cooperation between film distributors and film screening businesses and also addresses the various requirements and procedures which have to be followed when either importing or exporting films.
