New Provisions on the Granting of Approvals for the Use of Foreign Vessels in Indonesian Territorial Waters

The Minister of Transportation (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. PM.2 of 2021 on Procedures and Requirements for the Granting of Approvals for the Use of Foreign Vessels in Indonesian Territorial Waters for Activities Other Than the Transportation of Passengers and Goods (“ Regulation 2/2021 ”). This new regulation represents an implementation of certain provisions originally set out under Regulation of the Government No. 22 of 2011 on the Amendment to Regulation of the Government No. 20 of 2010 on Water Vessels.
