For the purpose of improving the reporting mechanism for foreign-exchange traffic activities (“ Traffic ”), Bank Indonesia (“ BI ”) has issued Regulation on the Reporting of Foreign-Exchange Traffic Activities (“ Regulation 2/2019 ”). [1] Previously, matters pertaining to the reporting of Traffic (“ Traffic Reports ”) were specifically addressed under Regulation (“ Regulation 22/2014 ”), which has now been repealed and replaced by Regulation 2/2019. [2] In essence, Regulation 2/2019 addresses the following matters:
