New Provisions on the Utilization of Foreign Workers Recently Promulgated

In order to implement various provisions originally set out under an umbrella framework of Law No. 11 of 2020 on Job Creation (“ Job Creation Law ”), which represents the most recent amendment to Law No. 13 of 2003 on Manpower, the government has finally issued Regulation of the Government No. 34 of 2021 on the Utilization of Foreign Workers (“ Regulation 34/2021 ”), which simultaneously replaces and repeals Regulation of the President No. 20 of 2018 (“ Regulation 20/2018 ”), which bore the same title as Regulation 34/2021.
