New Regulation on Compensation for Parties Affected by Electric Transmission Networks

The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 27 of 2018 on Compensation for Land, Buildings and/or Plants Located under Free Electricity Transmission Networks (“ Regulation 27/2018 ”).Regulation 27/2018 serves as a set of guidelines for the granting of compensation for any land, buildings and plants which are located in free spaces under electricity transmission networks (“ Free Spaces ”) and which are impacted as a result of the establishment of electrical infrastructure (“ Compensation ”) by holders of electricity power supply business licenses (“ Suppliers ”).
