The Government apparently has prepared a draft government regulation on franchise (“Draft”), which is reportedly being reviewed by the State Secretariat. The Draft refers to a new bill on trading, which, interestingly, has been prepared for some time but not yet finalized. If issued, the Draft will replace Government RegulationNo. 16 of 1997(“GR 16/1997”).
