New Regulation on Operational Provisions for the Certification of Telecommunications Equipment and/or Devices

The Minister of Communication and Informatics (“ Minister ”) recently issued Regulation on Operational Provisions for the Certification of Telecommunications Equipment and/or Devices (“ Regulation 16/2018 ”) with the ultimate objective of ensuring the quality of telecommunications equipment/devices (“ Telecommunications Devices ”) through an effective certification regime. [1] Regulation 16/2018 sets out a number of comprehensive provisions which specifically address this certification process.
