New Risk-Based Framework for Detailed RKL RPL Preparations: Evaluations to Result in Issuance of Business Actor Environmental Management Commitment Statement (PKPLH PU)

In 2020, Indonesia’s Minister of Industry (“ Minister ”) issued Regulation No. 1 of 2020 (“ Regulation 1/2020 ”) on the Preparation of Detailed Environmental Management Plans and Environmental Monitoring Plans ( Rencana Pengelolaan dan Pemantauan Lingkungan Hidup Rinci– “ Detailed RKL – RPL ”) for Industrial Companies Located or That Will Be Located Within Industrial Zones. As its title suggests, Regulation 1/2020 is currently serving as a set of guidelines for the preparation of Detailed RKL – RPL by industrial companies and industrial zone companies that are looking to complete examinations and secure approvals for Detailed RKL – RPL.
