New RLAN Device Standards Set for July 2025 Rollout

In 2023, the Minister of Communication and Informatics introduced Regulation No. 2 of 2023 on the Utilization of the Radiofrequency Spectrum Based on Class Licenses, which was then subsequently amended by Regulation No. 2 of 2025 (collectively referred to as “ Regulation 2/2023 ”). [1] In addition to outlining the applicable class licenses for the use of the radiofrequency spectrum (“ Class Licenses ”) through telecommunications tools and/or devices that utilize the radiofrequency spectrum (collectively referred to as “ Devices ”), the Minister is now authorized to introduce any adjustments that are deemed necessary to the stipulated Class Licenses based on the utilization dynamics of Devices.
