As a result of the increasing complexity of securities transactions, the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan– “ OJK ”) recently issued Regulation No. 22/POJK.04/2019 on Securities Transactions (“ Regulation 22/2019 ”). This new framework adjusts provisions which address securities transactions in a bid to increase the protection which is afforded to investors and capital-market players. [1]
