New State Institutions Established to Handle COVID-19

In order to expedite the handling of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (“ COVID-19 ”), as well as to restore and transform Indonesia’s national economy, President Joko Widodo recently established the Committee for the Handling of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and the Restoration of the National Economy (“ Committee ”) [1] through the issuance of Regulation of the President No. 82 of 2020 on the Committee for the Handling of Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and the Restoration of the National Economy (“ Regulation 82/2020 ”).
