The Indonesian government has declared the ongoing Coronavirus Disease 2019 (“ COVID-19 ”) pandemic to be a national disaster which is having a significant effect upon the country’s overall economic stability. As a result, and in a bid to maintain Indonesia’s overall economic growth, as well as the general public’s purchasing power and productivity across certain sectors of the economy, [1] the Minister of Finance (“ Minister ”) has just issued Regulation No. 23/PMK.03/2020 of 2020 on Taxation Incentives for Taxpayers Affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic (“ Regulation 23/2020 ).
