New Technical Provisions Introduced on the Implementation of Mutual Legal Assistance in Relation to Criminal Matters

In order to support the implementation of mutual legal assistance in relation to criminal matters (“ MLA ”), particularly matters that relate to the authority of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights as the central authority of the state (“ Central Authority ”), the Minister of Law and Human Rights (“ Minister ”) has issued Regulation No. 12 of 2022 on the Handling of Mutual Legal Assistance in Relation to Criminal Matters under the Scope of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (“ Regulation 12/2022 ”).
