New Women-Focused Credit Framework Expands Access to Productive Financing: Recipients Eligibility, Distributor Requirements, and Reporting Requirements Introduced

The Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs has issued Regulation No. 7 of 2026 (“ Regulation 7/2026 ”) on Guidelines for the Implementation of Credit for Underprivileged Women (Kredit Perempuan Prasejahtera— “ KPPS ”). As the title suggests, Regulation 7/2026 introduces the KPPS as group-based program providing underprivileged women with accessible productive capital and mandatory empowerment services to foster business growth and national economic development.
