OJK Introduces Provisions on Infrastructure Financing Companies

As authorized under Law No. 21 of 2011 on the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan– “ OJK ”), the OJK has recently issued Regulation No. 46/POJK.05/2020 on Infrastructure Financing Companies (“ Regulation 46/2020 ”). This new regulation sets out the legal basis for the organization of infrastructure financing companies (“ Companies ”) which will support policies of the Indonesian Government in order to fulfil national development goals.
