The Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan–“OJK”) has issued Regulation No. 2/POJK.05/2017 on the Business Organization of Guarantee Institutions (“Regulation 2/2017”). This regulation is an implementation of a number of articles which were originally set out under Law No. 1 of 2016 [1] on Guarantees, [2] which required the issuance of further provisions relating to the following matters:
